ABOUT
Vikings Hnefatafl: Kings of the Dark Age is a turn-based strategy game for 1-2 players. It is based on the ancient tafl boardgame, played by Vikings.
The game is centered around the Viking invasion of England. In turn-based battles, players must move their pieces, called ‘units’ in-game, and try and surround enemy pieces to ‘capture’ and destroy them. Every player has a King piece; when the King is surrounded, the player loses.
The game was a smaller project in comparison to AcroGames’s previous games, The Finnish War and Sotidrokhima. Vikings Hnefatafl has a Campaign, and a Custom Match mode against Computer or another player.
